ABOUT THE SUNSHINE HOUSE:

Last year The Sunshine House provided services to:

• 292…. Victims of physical or sexual abuse.

• 7 yrs old……Our average child victim is a 7-year-old white female who has been sexually abused.
• 246…..The number of counseling sessions provided to caregivers so they are better prepared to care for a child that has suffered a life-altering traumatic event.
• 936….Hours of counseling provided to children

The Sunshine House Children's Advocacy Center provides specialized resources to abused children. 85% of our cases are sexually abused children ranging from infants to 17 years old. The very compassionate and well-trained staff of The Sunshine House conducts interviews and medical exams to determine if sexual or physical abuse has occurred. If a child has been abused we collect evidence and use our highly trained staff to work with law enforcement and the judicial system to prosecute the perpetrators. If a child has been abused, our team works tirelessly with the child and their family to heal that broken soul. All services at The Sunshine House are FREE.

SN: GVT000928. This 1911 Government model by Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company is a one-of-a-kind edition specially manufactured to commemorate the work of The Sunshine House. Mr. Billy Crider began purchasing firearms from Mr. Antony Galazan owner of Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing many years ago. Through their mutual love of guns, they have become very close friends. As a favor to Mr. Crider, this firearm was commissioned for The Sunshine House. All proceeds from selling this pistol will be donated to The Sunshine House. Zetterower Ave. Statesboro, GA or may have the gun shipped to the federal firearms licensee of their choice. Upon pick up the winning bidder is required to fill out form 4473 to have the firearm legally transferred to them. ----- NO BUYERS PREMIUM IN PLACE. Payment for the pistol will be made directly to The Sunshine House.
